Corporate and government car rental in Kuching
Company bookings work differently from a tourist rental. Here is how we quote, what we can invoice, and how you pay.
Who we do this for
Alongside holiday rentals, a steady part of our work is companies and government departments in Sarawak. The requirements are different from a tourist booking, so this page sets them out plainly.
- Visiting staff and clients. Someone flies into Kuching for two days of meetings and needs a car waiting at arrivals.
- Project teams working outstation. A crew who need a vehicle for the length of a job rather than a string of day bookings.
- Long-term staff cars. A vehicle assigned to someone posted here for a season.
- Government departments. Officers travelling within Sarawak on duty.
- Executive and VIP collection. A director or client whose arrival should be comfortable.

How to get a quotation
Company bookings are quoted rather than taken through the booking form — the form is built for day rentals and cannot price a fleet or a month. Send us these five things and we will come back with a proper figure:
- How many vehicles, and what type.
- Start date and duration.
- Whether you need airport pickup and return.
- Your organisation's name and billing details, if you will need an e-Invoice.
- Anything unusual about the trip — outstation work, or travel outside Malaysia.
Availability is confirmed by our team, not by the website. We run a real fleet of a limited size, so holding several vehicles or one vehicle for a long period depends on what else is booked around it. Ask early for anything that matters.

For anything else your procurement or finance team requires, raise it with us when you ask for the quote. We would rather confirm in writing what we can and cannot do than have you build a process around an assumption.
Vehicles
Every car is automatic, bought new, and comes with unlimited kilometres. Fuel and tolls are on the driver.

Rental periods
We take daily, weekly and monthly enquiries. Published rates already drop at three days — an Axia 2018 goes from RM100 to RM80 a day — and weekly and monthly quotes continue that curve based on model, duration and dates. Our monthly and long-term rental page explains how those quotes are built.
Airport pickup and return
Free, at any hour, every day. For a visiting colleague this is the useful part: the car meets them at arrivals rather than requiring a counter visit, and the same applies on departure. Give us the flight number and we track it, so a delayed flight simply moves the handover.

Deposits and insurance
A refundable security deposit applies per vehicle: RM100 compact and sedan, RM200 seven-seater, RM300 Alphard/Vellfire. Refundable security deposits are processed within 48 hours after vehicle return.
Basic insurance is included in every rental. Insurance coverage, exclusions and applicable liability will be explained before booking confirmation — please ask us to set this out for your organisation in writing before you commit.
Outstation and cross-border travel
Kilometres are unlimited, so distance costs nothing. Trips beyond greater Kuching carry a one-time outstation charge, not a per-day or per-kilometre fee: Sri Aman RM100, Betong RM150, Pusak/Saratok/Roban RM200, Sibu RM300, Mukah/Bintulu/Miri RM400. The vehicle returns to Kuching — we have no branches elsewhere, so there is no one-way drop-off.
Cross-border travel to Brunei or Indonesia may be arranged with advance approval from Car&Go. Contact the team before booking so the applicable vehicle, documents and current border requirements can be confirmed. Please do not assume a booked vehicle is automatically eligible, and do not cross a border without telling us first.
